Hdmi Connector Gets Hot

I have a 2016 macbook that uses a usb c to hdmi cable which supports 4k 60hz.

Hdmi connector gets hot. My gpu have 39c not the adapter the adapter is very hot and i think he s the problem my screen goes black after 5min of playing games and my computer remains. If this happens often consider getting locks for your hdmi cables or self locking cables. And the headset isn t displaying an image after this happened. I ve noticed that my surface book gets extremely hot to the point where the unit actually force shuts down due to overheating and throttles the cpu when using my external hdmi and duplicating my surface book display.

It s so hot you can t touch it. And it says no hdmi connection even though the hdmi cable is connected to the gpu. I plug that cable into this monitor 4k. Check hdmi cable connections.

Overheating hdmi to vga adapter. The hdmi specification requires all sour. Usb c to hdmi cable runs hot at 4k. Hdmi extender female to female coupler connector adapter foe hdtv black hot. I don t think any cable connection should be so hot that you can t touch it.
